Climate adaptation and water efficiency in destinations under pressure.

This panel will address how tourism is responding to growing water stress, especially in coastal and island areas, through efficiency, digitalization, and resilience. Cases studies of hotels, municipalities, and technological solutions linked to the PERTE water program will be presented, in line with European climate objectives. The main structural and regulatory challenges that hinder sustainable water management in tourist destinations will also be analyzed.
