Description
Since its origins, Almería has grown with its sights set on the sea. Today, that vocation has been transformed into a comprehensive sustainable development strategy based on the blue economy. Almería has taken on a leadership role within the Mediterranean as a Blue Municipality, serving as a meeting point for local cooperation, territorial innovation and marine sustainability, in line with the European Green Deal and the Andalusian Strategy for a Sustainable Blue Economy (EA2).
