The goal of this event is to explore opportunities and challenges in the Mediterranean region for Europe and its ports, and to discuss how the European Global Gateway strategy can help shaping the future of this area. We are already counting on the participation of several leading Mediterranean ports, ESPO members, and the European Commission. It would be an honor to enrich the panel with your experience and insights. The session will focus on:
(i) port-led decarbonisation (OPS/shore power, alternative fuels and bunkering readiness).
(ii) resilient and interoperable maritime logistics linking EU and Southern Neighbourhood value chains.
(iii) blue-economy growth through innovation, skills and sustainable coastal development.
