He is Vice-Chairman of the Smart Cities Commission and coordinator of the Smart Tourism WG of Ametic, member of the Tourism Council of the CEOE, as well as coordinator of Semantics of SC02 UNE/CTN178 Smart Cities, coordinator of WG07 Semantics in tourism of SC05 Smart Tourism Destinations UNE/CTN178 Smart Cities; and member of United for Smart and Sustainable Cities (U4SSC) of the ITU. Positions that he combines with his position as Executive Managing Partner at Globaldit.

IFor more than 25 years he has been building sectorial solutions and public policies for the competitive development of the tourism system and its impact on society and the territory. His main area of interest is the design of sectoral models for the acceleration of digital and green transitions, integrating all stakeholders involved to project scenarios and define operational frameworks for the evolution of tourism towards a new competitive regime. He is an expert in the tourism domain in the combined aspects of strategy, technology and innovation. He has developed his expertise for governments and corporations in more than 11 countries and international organizations.

He defines the vision for scalable change projects, knowledge transfer models and builds leadership and team management capacity for sectoral projects at national and regional level. In addition, he promotes social innovation as a driver of human development in Ibero-America through tourism with cooperation agencies and the United Nations.

As CEO of Globaldit he leads teams in the development of new business lines and promotes active collaboration scenarios with public and business agents.

As VP of the Smart Cities Commission of Ametic, he promotes the approach of the digital industry to the tourism industry with large tractor and specialized companies for the construction of strategic spaces for innovation in tourism.
